As company founder and lead designer, I bring 12 years of plant, shoreline, hardscape and design experience to your project. My specialty is distinctive design, that reflects the personality and lifestyle of my clients and their families. I believe great design is based on simplicity and ease of function first, then all season beauty and elegance. Working in a wide range of design styles and budgets, I will create a place you are happy to call “home”.
My Work
Melissa Netzer Design is a full service design firm founded in 2006. In 2007 I partnered with Bloch’s Farm to provide the very best in plant material, installation and maintenance support available. Every garden, large or small, is custom-designed. All materials—including trees, plants, natural stone or pavers, statuary or fountains—are hand selected from top growers and suppliers in the mid-west. The result is a one-of-a-kind outdoor space perfectly tailored to the architecture of the home and environment of the site. And, most importantly, to the lifestyle of the client.
Melissa Netzer Design/Bloch’s Farm gardens have been built throughout SE and Central Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. With an eye for green design best practices and sustainability, Melissa Netzer Design uses a common sense, low maintenance approach to creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
